Basic Bouquets:
~The Posy, Nosegay, Round, and Clutch Bouquets ~
These are all quite similar. These boquets are round, small and medium in size, and they and can easily be held in one hand. There are different styles- one can be loose, hand tied and unstructured, the other formal and wired, the stems of the flowers are removed and replaced with florists wire, with an easy to hold handle.

~The Arm Sheaf Bouquet or Presentation Bouquet~
These are long stemmed flowers and foliages that the bride carries cradled in her arm, also known as a presentation bouquet.

~The Composite-Flower Bouquet~
Similar to a clutch bouquet, except many flower petals are 'glued' together to make the bouquet look like one REALLY big flower...it's very pretty and unique!

~The Fan Bouquet~
The fan bouquet, is a simple bouquet of flowers attached to a lacy plastic fan or shaped like a fan.

~The Muff Bouquet ~
In mid winter, the bride's hands would sit into the muff, a lovely corsage-shaped bouquet attached at the front. Unusual and unique, a perfect choice for a winter wedding.

~The Cascading/Teardrop Bouquet ~
This is the most formal and most traditional of bouquets, and is designed to spill gracefully over the bride's hands as it flows downward for a sophisticated and stylized look, almost any flower can be used in this style.
This last picture is a cascade AND a biedermiere bouquet!

~The Pomander Bouquet or Kissing Ball ~
The pomander bouquet is also known as a kissing ball. A pomander is a ball of flowers suspended from a loop of decorative ribbon. This is great for flowergirls, bridesmaids, hanging off pews, trees, or wherever inspiration leads you to!
Notice the flower 'bling'-also called flower jewelry inside the middle of the roses? We will talk a bit about that at the bottom of the page!

Flower 'Bling'
It's a pretty cool trend right now....except for the cost!!! It can run anywhere from
50 cents for one or sometimes up to $3.00 for one! WHOA!
How about the DIY version? I just typed in 'loose rhinestones' on ebay and found 144 pieces for $8.99 with free shipping. Next, buy some long thin nails from a hardware store, might be $2 for those! You can buy some silver/chrome spray paint if any of the nail may be showing to make it not look like a nail :) Then you can just use a dab of hot glue onto the nail and put the loose rhinestone on it! Now you can bling flowers in your centerpieces, bouquets, pomanders....ANYTHING for a LOT less!
